What's in Our Classes?
In these classes, your child begins to learn about their own body and what it can do. Watch your child improve each week; our class helps to provide strength to little muscles for that special moment when they begin to do things on their own. Perhaps they might crawl and walk just that little bit sooner, or start to run and skip!
Babies are naturally supple, just watch your little one on the changing mat! At Born to Dance we believe that helping them to maintain this suppleness is a step towards keeping them healthier and happier later on. Studies have proven to show that flexibility helps aid against back pain and other ailments in later life.
Join in with our nursery rhymes and actions with your little one: it's another great way to interact with them and help them to learn! Here are the building blocks to speech; this activity will help them to understand familiar sounds and begin to repeat them. Actions alongside the songs are great for little bodies to interpret the words, and it has been found that babies find it easier to sign words before speaking, enabling you to have a conversation with them sooner! Older ones can expand their vocabulary by repeating familiar songs and learning new ones. Naming body parts, shapes or animal names and noises increases their awareness of the world.
We use musical instruments to develop a sense of rhythm and to finish on a fun note, there is enjoyable yet important relaxation time with Flora the bubble fish!
In short, spend quality time with your special girl or boy, while we help them to develop key skills which are building blocks for future development.
